Getting the Word Out

There are many ways to tell people about the great ministry tools we offer at ChurchApps. Two of the most effective are: being an exhibitor and teaching breakout sessions at Christian conferences. Through both of these venues we are able to make positive connections and share what God is doing through ChurchApps. In September Micheal, Kari, Kristoffer and Gary B. Jr shared at the Renewing Worship Expo in North Carolina. They met some great people and were able to share FreeShow and all of our ministry tools with those in attendance.
Micheal will be speaking at the Children's Pastors Conference January 6th - 8th in Orlando. The title of his breakout session is "Maximize Impact with Zero Budget: Free Tools & Strategies for Effective Children's Ministry" He'll be talking about working smarter so we can focus on what matters: discipling kids and building real relationships. @INCM #CPC26. Micheal and Terry both were featured on podcasts recently, you can hear Terry here and Micheal here. Terry will be speaking at the Arkansas Ministers Retreat in November.
We would love to come to your next conference or ministers meeting. Contact us at terry@churchapps.org to get us on your schedule.

ChurchApps Partners Make a Difference
It's that time of year again when we look at our budget and ask God to meet our needs. As you can see from the graph on the right we are about $25,000 short this year. The deficit is due to greater than expected expenses and less than expected donations. We have a core group of dedicated partners who generouslly give so the Kingdom can be blessed with our ministry tools.
Why not join this fantastic group of people who make this ministry happen. It's a great opportunity to invest in the Kingdom! FreeShow, Chums, B1.church and Lessons.church could not happen without our generous donors. Would you consider making a small donation or becoming a monthly partner to make a lasting impact?
Another way to partner with us is by donating your time and talents. We are always in need of programmers and people who are computer savy who can help with turotials and testing new features. All open source software relies on volunteers and ChurchApps is no different. If you can help, follow this link https://churchapps.org/dev or contact us at terry@churchapps.org.
Do you know of any churches or individuals who might be interested in supporting ChurchApps? We would love to connect with anyone who might be open to a conversation. Send an e-mail to terry@churchapps.org
Meeting the Needs of the Church

We visited Oswego Christian Church to help setup some of ChurchApps ministry tools. We demonstrated the features of Chums, Lessons and B1. It was a great time of fellowship and learning as we introduced the features of each ministry tool. Everyone had a fantastic time learning how these new tools will help Oswego Christian Church continue to reach people with the message of Christ.
Micheal spent the day at the Blue Star Church of Christ in Claremore, Ok helping set up donations, checkin and FreeShow. He also got to help install a new television.
Chums And B1 Have A New Look

We are constantly working to improve all of our software to better meet the needs of the Church. In the past couple months Chums and B1have received a facelift! The changes are not just cosmetic. We have improved the way Chums functions to make it more intuitive and responsive. We have removed some redundancy and streamlined the process. We have also added a few features that you have been asking for. For instance: you can now easly do an advanced search using our AI Search option.
Another exciting addition is the ability to set up your worship service, including songs, band members and order of service. Here is a brief list of improvements:
- We added a ton of performance improvements and did some general housekeeping on the projects. Our goal is to make sure they are updated to the latest libraries, have consistent code formatting and are minimized to reduce load times. We also improved error handling and rate limiting so they will not take down the APIs when something goes awry.
- Implemented user interface updates across the board - Blue headers across the platform, updated navigation and more full-screen-width components rather than the 2/3 1/3rd split from before.
- Released new B1 app that fixed tons of old bugs (and introduced some new ones lol). The updated app has a more clean, modern look.
Every time we update our programs there is a potential for bugs. If you find one please reach out to us and let us know. You can contact us at terry@churchapps.org or micheal@churchapps.org You can also check out our Github account, just go to Github.com and search for ChurchApps.
